Well, I am working on my Diana Palmer obsession. Diana Palmer, to me, is what sexy, interesting cowboy-tacular is about;)
Darling Enemy was fantastic!
The only thing I can say about this book that had me not liking it was how rough he was with her. I like the roughness, but when it borderlines rape... yeah, not a fan. Darling Enemy is about the sexy Kingston.... yes, ladies he is yummy, and he is a cowboy whom took a dilapidated ranch and turned it to a real money maker. He grew up with his father, his parents were still together, but his father inherited a 'station' in Australia, and King went with him. He learned the ins and outs of ranching from the mistakes his father made. His mother, meanwhile, was still living in Canada with his baby sister--Jenna. Jenna met Teddi in boarding school.... and then Kingston and Jenna's dad died, and he came back home to a ranch that was falling down around their ears... he meets Teddi there--a lonely, gorgeous, orphan whose aunt was a golddigger. Kingston, of course, like many other Diana Palmer books--who am I kidding--all...got the wrong idea and believe she was just like his aunt.
Years later, and I mean years, Kingston still gets the wrong idea, but can't see straight anymore. He wants her and he doesn't let her go.
Very sexy, very rough, very romantic in many parts. The end made me swoon;)
Cowboys, love and hot dominating men.
